H: How long have you been illustrating, how'd you get into it?
5 years, got bored of my previous job and started drawing and painting then did a design degree.

How would you define your style and approach to your work?
I have a great interest in colour and contrast, line and shade, I like unusual approaches to defining commons forms ,also in an effort not to make any work too “precious” I often destroy it slightly with aging effects. I love the mix of computer game and graphic iconography with traditional illustration. I also have strong affection for contemporary South American illustration.

H: ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas ilustrando y como empezaste?
5 años. Estaba aburrido de mi trabajo y empecé a pintar y dibujar; entonces cursé estudios de diseño.

¿Cómo definirías tu estilo?
Me interesa sobre todo el color y contraste, línea y tono. Me gusta definir formas comunes desde un punto de vista poco habitual quizás en un intento de no hacer ningún trabajo demasiado ‘bonito’ Por eso, a menudo los destruyo ligeramente con efectos que lo envejecen. Me encanta la mezcla entre juego de ordenador, iconografía gráfica e ilustración clásica. Además tengo una fuerte influencia de la ilustración contemporánea de Sudamérica.
