Vinicius Saisse Nascimento was born on March 5th,1979 in Rio e Janeiro, Brazil. Undergrad in Journalism with major in Cinema, Brazilian Literature and Fashion. Has attended ‘Art History’ courses, one of them in the fine arts museum in Rio de Janeiro. Now, he is finishing his graduation in ‘Ciência da Arte’ at Universidade Federal Fluminense --- UFF. His studies are paralleled with performance works and urban interventions.

H: How long have you been illustrating, how'd you get into it?
Since my childhood. I started by watching my aunt and my grandfather who was in the military.

How would you describe your style?
New folk.

Any artist that you would like to recommend?
Fernando Codeço, Delfina Reink Reis and Adriana Frant.

What have you been working on recently?
Toilet paper posters. Toilet paper posters are visual interventions made with toilet paper strategically applied throughout many public restrooms in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These restrooms then become art galleries and the toilet paper screens becomes part of the scenary.

Vinicius Saisse Nascimento nació en Marzo de 1979 en Río de Janeiro, Brasil. Es licenciado en periodismo con especialización en Cine, Literatura Brasileña y Moda. Ha asistido a varios cursos de ‘Historia del Arte’ y, actualmente, está acabando su titulación en ‘Ciencia del Arte’ en la UFF. Paralelamente, realiza intervenciones urbanas a nivel personal.

H: ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas ilustrando y como empezaste?
Desde que era niño empecé a ver a mi tío y mi abuelo.

Póster de papel higiénico. Son intervenciones visuales hechas con papel higiénico estratégicamente situados en numerosos servicios de Río de Janeiro, Brasil. Así los servicios se convierten en galerías de arte y los dibujos en papel higiénico forman parte del entorno.
